Wildflower season is one of my favorites! Peak season in the most beautiful areas of Utah is usually July-August, but depending on the trail you can find them May-September. There are some trails that peak their wildflowers in May and June, so scroll down for those. Some areas really outshine the rest for best wildflowers.

Albion Basin
Little Cottonwood Canyon
At the very top of the list is the Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Guardsman Pass
Just over the hill from Big Cottonwood Canyon or near Park City is Guardsman Pass. This area is also amazing for wildflowers!
Brighton
The top of Big Cottonwood Canyon also has lots of wildflowers!
Alpine Loop (American Fork and Provo Canyons)
Mount Timpanogos has some spectacular wildflowers!
Primrose Overlook
Powder Mountain
Powder Mountain east of Ogden has gorgeous wildflowers. Check out the Paper Airplane or Brim Trails.
Logan Canyon
Logan Canyon is such a beautiful place and the wildflowers near Tony Grove do not disappoint. I feel like the fields of wildflowers leading to the lake rival the best!
Uinta Mountains
Mill Hollow in the Uinta Mountains has so many wildflowers just above the reservoir!
Mirror Lake also gets lots of wildflowers!
Ruth Lake is another area of the Uinta Mountains with lots of wildflowers!
Spring Wildflowers
These trails are incredible for spring blooming!
Kyhv Peak Overlook
Poppy Fields
The poppy fields bloom near the end of May and the first half of June in Alpine and Mantua, Utah.
Cherry Blossoms
Cherry blossoms are not quite wildflowers, but they are beautiful to see each spring, usually for about ten days in April.
