Gloria Falls is a beautiful hike year round, but there is something so peaceful about it in the winter. When the snow isn’t too deep then you can still get to the falls.

Here are some photos of the falls and wildlife we saw on the trail.

When the snow gets deep enough, Gloria Falls gets completely buried. The first mile of the trail is still a beautiful place to hike or snowshoe when there is fresh snow.

It is 2.3 miles round trip to the falls or 2 miles round trip to the river when the snow is too deep to continue.
