Hidden Haven Falls is a beautiful, mostly shaded hike near Parowan, just outside Brian Head and Cedar Breaks. It’s a great detour on your way between Salt Lake and St. George because it’s only 12 minutes off I-15, just a little north of Cedar City.
The trail is mostly easy with a nice slightly windy walk to the river and towards the canyon.
When it looks like the trail ends, climb up the rocks and follow the river bed.
Near the end there are several cool mini waterfalls and dripping walls.
Even though there are a few large rocks to climb, this is a great hike for most. Toddlers will definitely need help in those parts, but the rest of the hike is so easy and the end reward is fantastic!
If you look above the waterfall you can see large canyon walls. We even saw a bird of prey circling!
