Lindon Marina on Utah Lake is a great place for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or launching a motor boat.  There is a nice sandy beach and some trees to offer shade.  There are also picnic tables and close parking.  My husband caught several white bass fishing in the marina.

There are two boat ramps and a marina where some park their boats.  The beach is a great place to launch a kayak or paddle board.  It is smooth and wave-free.  I kayaked out the marina and into Utah Lake, where there were more waves.  Lindon Marina also rents everything from canoes to sailboats!  This is a great place to play for the day!

Winter Activities

In the winter there is ice fishing and sometimes ice skating at the Lindon Marina.  Year round it is a beautiful spot for sunsets!

They usually only have ice skating a few weekends per year, because the weather has to be cold enough to make the ice on the lake thick enough to be safe.  Because of this they can’t post a schedule beforehand.  If it has had below freezing temperatures, check out the Lindon Marina Facebook page.

For ice skating they smooth out a few large rectangles and then create several paths farther out on the ice. They also sell concessions of hot cocoa and popcorn, both for $1 each.  They accept cash or Venmo.
