The Mill B South Trail is more of a nature stroll than a hike, but it is perfect if you need to push a stroller or have a wheelchair. It is a paved path that follows the river for a quarter mile in Big Cottonwood Canyon. This is the same path you follow to begin the trail to Lake Blanche or Lakes Blanche, Florence, and Lillian. You can see the stream the whole time and there are a couple little waterfalls that feed into it.
The parking lot is usually full in the mornings and evenings with hikers heading to Lake Blanche, but midday there are almost always spots. This trail has quite a bit of shade and would be a nice place to have a picnic or play. Be cautious about playing in the main part of the river though because there is a strong current.
