Natural Bridge is an enormous 85 foot arch carved out of the red rock. The contrast of the ponderosa pines in the background make it especially beautiful.

There isn't a hike to see the arch and no trails that begin at this poing. It is one of the viewpoints that you don't want to miss in Bryce Canyon National Park. There is a railing to keep everyone safe while you take in the spectacular view. Just like most of Bryce Canyon, this was created by frost-wedging, where rain and snow get into the cracks of the rock and then when it freezes at night, it expands and cracks the rock further. Eventually the middle fell away and left the arch.

We have been both when there was a little snow and in the late summer.
