New Fee Areas in Utah

The US Forest Service has expanded the fee areas in Utah. In most cases they have improved the services, with new boardwalks or facilities. If you have an America the Beautiful or other National Parks Pass, then it includes these areas. Otherwise, it is $10/vehicle for a 3-day pass, $20/vehicle for a 7-day pass, $60/vehicle for a year pass, or $80/vehicle for the America the Beautiful National Parks Pass that includes all the National Parks and Monuments in the country. All of the fee areas in Utah’s National Forests use the same pass:

The USDA are implementing the fees in different areas at staggered dates.

Salt Lake County – Parts of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon

Some of the new fee areas are located in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
