A great hike in the St. George area is the Red Reef Trail in Red Cliffs Recreation Area. It can be hiked year-round, but the water is there in the winter and very early spring. Most of this trail is easy, but there are a few fun things to climb.
These photos were taken at the beginning of March last year and everything was so green! I love the contrast of the red rocks and greenery!
There isn’t much shade, so I wouldn’t attempt it on a hot day, plus in the summer there isn’t much if any water. When the water is there, so are tiny waterfalls!
