One year ago in June, Lehi opened its first trail. The Sensei Trail is a hiking, trail running, and mountain biking trail that connects to Oak Canyon (Steep Canyon). The plan is to create even more trail to connect to the Draper trail systems.
This trail has a lot of potential, but it still early in it’s growth. some parts the foilage hasn’t filled in much. It doesn’t offer much shade, but we did see some beautiful wildflowers though.
The main draws to this trail are it’s proximity and the city views. Hopefully the plants will continue to fill in. For hiking you can just walk until you are done and then turn around. For biking, you can ride it to connect to the other trail systems.
This is a nice trail in the winter as well.
