Strawberry Reservoir is a large lake with blue ribbon fishing near Heber City, Utah. It is the most popular fishery in Utah!

Anglers can find rainbow trout, bear lake cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, and crayfish.
Salmon Run
The Kokanee Salmon Run across the state begins on September 10 through November 30. Anglers may not target or keep salmon during that time. It is really fun to watch them! There is a post with all the details on the Salmon Run at Strawberry Reservoir.

Permits needed – $10 if you want to launch a boat

Other spots to explore are Deer Creek Reservoir, Jordanelle Reservoir, Huber Grove and Epperson Trail Loop, Mill Hollow, Mirror Lake Highway, Alpine Loop, and in winter the Midway Ice Castles.
