Sunrises are one of my favorite things to watch and photograph. It seems like I can never quite capture the beauty, but I enjoy trying. Lakes provide amazing places for sunrises and sunsets because the water can turn into a giant mirror reflecting back the gorgeous sky. Utah Lake is one of the largest lakes in the state.

The two images above and the set below were all taken the same morning at Eagle Park.
American Fork Boat Harbor
Another great spot to go to sunrise on Utah Lake is the American Fork Boat Harbor. I love the sunrays on this one!
One of the cool things about the boat harbor is all of the ice stacks there that look like shards of broken glass!
The Saratoga Springs Marina and other Utah Lake shores are also beautiful for sunrise photos.
