Tibble Fork Reservoir is still a popular destination in the winter months. Instead of water recreation, there is sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and still plenty of hiking. You can still hike the Silver Flat Trail and Tibble Fork Trails in the winter, but you will need micro-spikes or snow shoes depending on how recently it has snowed.

When it’s been very cold you can walk across the ice. Be careful though to be sure it’s safe. Closer to where the stream enters the lake, it’s likely to be melted.
