Timber Creek Overlook

The Kolob Canyon section of Zion National Park is small, but it is only minutes off I-15 just south of Cedar City in New Harmony, Utah. In 2023 it is partially closed due to road contruction, but hopefully it will reopen soon.

The Timber Creek Overlook Trail begins at the end of the short scenic drive to the Kolob View Point.

There is some elevation change which is why it is moderate, but it is doable with toddlers. This pink and green cactus was pretty cool!

This trail probably gets pretty muddy after rain, so be sure to try it when it’s dry. Here is the viewpoint at the end

Other trails nearby are Hidden Haven Waterfall and Kanarra Falls.
