Wilson Arch is a large roadside attraction between Moab and Monticello, Utah. It can be seen from the road or can make a quick hike.


Wilson Arch is located on the east side of US-191 about 28 minutes south of Moab, Utah and 28 minutes north of Monticello, Utah.

There is parking on both sides of the road so even if you only have a minute it’s worth the stop.

Approximate hiking time – 10-30 minutes
Elevation gain – 95 feet
Difficulty – Moderate
Trail – well maintained trail of dirt and rocks
Bathrooms – None
Seasons to hike – Year Round (be careful when muddy or icy)
Permits needed – None
Pets allowed – Yes

Nearby areas to explore are Moab, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, House on Fire, and Hovenweep National Monument.
